Scarlett in the Sky

Here’s a short video about Darren Scarlett and his RV-7 homebuilt aircraft. Darren loves few things more than flying, and he logs nearly 300 hours per year in this high-performance airplane.

Shot at, and near, Chestermere Kirkby Field, we take you into the cockpit, and into the sky, with Darren for a peek at what it’s like to be up there.

I used a Canon Vixia HF S30 camcorder and a Drift HD170 Stealth action camera. The air-to-air scenes were shot from my own trusty airplane, and some of the ground scenes were shot from a large round hay bail.

I hope you enjoy your time aloft. Thanks for flying with us.
