Two of the engines on the Nanton Lancaster are started and run. The sound is terrible but it’s unreal. Standing about 30 feet away you can feel the engines at idle, when they are throttled up you can feel your entire body vibrate. The video doesn’t do it justice. These engines are started several times a year and if you can get to Nanton Alberta it’s worth seeing.
